To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the unprecedented terrorist attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, a special photography exhibit at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City (main level near Macys) organized by three local photographers will be open free to the public September 11 - October 11, 2021. The exhibit, which aims to educate and remind the public about this horrific historic event will include dozens of original photographs, some never-before published, a video of the immediate aftermath of the attack and 9/11 memorabilia. Photographers Sean Kelley, Joe Pisciotta and Bob Pugh, were at the Pentagon on the day of the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon, and captured compelling and historic images immediately after the attack. Many of their images previously were included in 9/11 “Here is New York” and shows at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Women’s Military Memorial in Arlington, VA, and other venues in Northern Virginia.
